Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist Assistant/Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered care within a bright and friendly clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a private orthopaedic clinic and possess strong knowledge of medical terminology. Duties
- Assist physiotherapists with patient treatment plans
- Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient education on exercises and recovery protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment spaces
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a private physiotherapy clinic is preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and protocols
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and rehabilitation
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Certification or diploma in Physiotherapy Assistance or related field is desirable
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments and patient needs
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
